• Peter Klose, representing The Meadows at Briarcliff (715 Sleepy Hollow
Rd.) requested that the amendment include a grandfathering provision for
[his client's] application. Mr. Klose also commented on the proposed law's
impact on the number of lots that could be built.
• Maureen Petry of Briarcliff Manor said that she and her neighbors deserve
protection under Steep Slopes just as much as anyone else.
• Peter Schuyler, representing members of the Grandview Farms
development asked whether there was a particular study done on the
proposed lot size reduction provision, how much of developable land will
this impact and to what degree. He asked the Board to provide justification.

Melissa Socorro of Valhalla and Jaclyn Schneider of Greenburgh serve as the
Service Unit Managers for the Valhalla Service Unit of Girl Scouts Heart of the
Hudson. Just this month of May 2026, their unit was honored with the prestigious
“Blockbuster of Growth” Certificate of Appreciation by the Girl Scouts Heart of the
Hudson Council’s Community Engagement Team. This award recognizes the
Valhalla Service Unit for achieving the highest membership retention and new
recruitment numbers among all service units in the council — serving girls in
grades K through 12.

1. At the Town Board Work Session on April 21, 2026, the Town Board
approved an agreement with Blind Faith Productions, LLC, to use/film at
Town Hall and the Community Center (April 24-28) for a fee of $20,000
plus the cost of police. The agreement will formally be approved on the
April 28, 2026 Town Board Agenda.
2. At a Special Town Board Meeting held on April 23, 2026 at 8:30 AM, the
Town Board approved a contract with Casa Verde Corp. d/b/a Amodio to
remove equipment from Clay Bird Lane.
