Mr. Gascoigne reported that the Forest Preserve is not against this annexation. And the Village has received a letter from the Forest Preserve. He also explained that there is no development proposed on that property at this point. This hearing is just for the annexation process. The Village wants all of the affected agencies involved and all of them were sent a letter. If any future development is proposed it will go back through the Planning and Zoning process. Mayor Coladipietro also noted that this property has been problematic for many years and the Forest Preserve has had multiple opportunities to purchase this property and declined.
