police service options through independent studies, public input, and consultation with police
leadership and public safety professionals. She emphasized that Council's goal has been to ensure

public comment before deliberating and voting on the proposed police service solution. Ms. Cloyd

Voices Underground. Ms. Cassell accepted the Borough's Juneteenth proclamation and expressed
appreciation for Council's recognition of Juneteenth and support of the Oxford Juneteenth Festival at
Memorial Park on June 21, 2026. She noted that Juneteenth commemorates the delayed fulfillment of
freedom and serves as a reminder of the ongoing responsibility to promote learning, remembrance, and
action. She also thanked the Borough and all event partners for their support and reaffirmed the
organization's commitment to promoting a more just and inclusive future.

A. Reminder to Borough property owners about No Mow May in Oxford. Property owners who register can
refrain from mowing for the month of May to allow flowering plants to bloom, providing essential
nectar and pollen for bees and other pollinators. Deadline to register is April 30, 2026.
B. Junior Council Person Applications are now being accepted through May 30th for the 2026-27 School.
