I can call this meeting to order. You would stand with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by an invocation from Kathy Stepp. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under their God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. If you join me in prayer, I have to sit. You guys can keep standing if you like. I have the mic down here. Heavenly Father, we thank you for this gathering in our precious community of Branson, Missouri this evening. Please put a special blessing on all of those in attendance and those listening, and of course those in our community that we serve that are unable to join us regularly. Continue to bless us with open hearts of spirit, generosity , kindness, and love towards each other, even when disagreements are bound to appear, that we can all agree that Branson is a special community that deserves special protection, and your hand provides that daily. Lord, as we go about our business this evening, we ask you to use us to be the hands and feet of the mission that you want carried out in our city. And Lord, a special blessing tonight, as game four of the World Series with the Milwaukee Brewers is about to take off at 7 p.m. Central Time, but you know that. And Lord, we ask your special blessing on this team to bring home a sweep. Go Brewers! In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Thank you. We're going to start off this evening with a special pro clamation from the mayor. I …

So for our agenda, um we have a dis we have a discussion um on the city of Branson's local legislative priorities. I guess we're going to lead this off. Before we do, Alex, let me see if I can make a quick summary. This is we've already approved the legislative priorities for the state. This is legislative priorities for the city. On here, I believe there are how many items? >> 16. So, I'm not sure um what the structure was when we first started this. Um, but after reviewing this uh over the weekend, it appeared to me that we're not accomplishing what we were trying to set out to do initially. The initial goal, I thought, was to give for the alderman to agree on with priorities that the city staff will be working on during 2027. When I look at this list of 16 items, that's not what we ended up with on this list. Um, and a quick e easy example of one that's up there is child care, healthc care, and a 12-month economy. Um, there are some things up there that I think are good long-term goals. They're good guidel …

Well, now that Clay's here, I call this meeting to order. If you would, follow with the pledge and invocation from Chief Houston. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, as we humbly approach your throne, we just ask that you be with us as we go throughout this night. Guide us and direct us, Father. We thank you for your grace and mercy. Your grace is sufficient, Father, but your mercy continues to flow towards us. And I just pray, Father, that as we go through this meeting, that you help us to see those around us through your eyes, Father. And most importantly, that we remain centered in your will as we make decisions. We love you and we praise you for it. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen. Thank you, Chief. Madam Clerk, we'll get a roll call, please. Harkness? Here. Lucas? Cooper? Here. Milton? Yep. Denim? Here. Schultz? Williams? Present. Your Honor, you have a quorum. Thank you. So the public comment section is not for items listed on the regular agenda. At this time, the board will hear the eligible speakers who have personally signed up.
