Council may be present at Lucette Brewing (910 Hudson Rd, Menomonie, WI 54751) on
Wednesday September 23, 2026 at 8:30am to attend an event entitled “Wisconsin Economic
Development Association - Economic Development 101”.
The topics of conversation will include economic development.
For the purposes of the open meeting law only, this constitutes a meeting of the City Council
pursuant to State ex rel Badke v. Greendale Village Board, 173 Wis. 2d 533, 494 NW2d 408

A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Menomonie, Dunn County, Wisconsin, was held in
open session on August 3, 2026, and called to order by Mayor Crowe at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council
Chambers. The following members were present: Luther, Edwards, Sutherland, Yonko, Pickard,
Schwebs, Gentz, Hargrove, Schlough, Erdman, and Sommerfeld.
MOTION made by Erdman, seconded by Hargrove, and carried unanimously to approve the minutes of
the July 20, 2026, City Council meeting.

Meeting Minutes
July 8, 2026
The Menomonie Tourism Commission was called to order by Grady Richartz on July 8, 2026, at
10:05 a.m. in the City of Menomonie Council Chambers.
Roll Call: Matthew Crowe, Barbara Bauer -Chen, Amanda Pickerign -Yaeger, Grady Richartz ,
Camden Hargrove, and Julie Holger.
Others Present: Eric Atkinson, Pam Wildner and Tammy Simon
Motion to approve the March 11, 2026, minutes was made by Crowe and seconded by Richartz.
Motion carried unanimously.
Atkinson provided the 1st quarter room tax data.
Simon provided the Chamber reports.
The next meeting date was set for September 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers.
Simon mentioned the Tourism Conference will be November 12 th – 13th in Eau Claire. Anyone
interested in attending should contact her.
Pickerign-Yaeger spoke about creating Explore Menomonie Baskets for hotels and being a peer
representative to work with other hotels regarding communications.
Richartz noted that UW-Stout move in is August 22-30 and Homecoming is October 17th.
