Planning Commission

Board of Supervisors

The Board of Supervisors will receive a presentation on the proposed school budget for the 2026/2027 fiscal year. The meeting includes a public hearing on zoning amendments for communication tower heights and several supplemental budget appropriations.

The Board adopted a resolution asking the Virginia Department of Transportation to accept the streets in Maury Heights (Section 3) into the secondary state highway system. Board of Supervisors

The Caroline County Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for January 27, 2026 was canceled because of inclement weather. Chairman Clay Forehand invoked the board’s by‑law provision that allows a hazardous meeting to be automatically continued to the next regular session. All items that were on the January 27 agenda will be considered at the February 10, 2026 meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Services Center.

Planning Commission

The Caroline County Planning Commission is holding an organizational meeting to elect a chairman and vice-chairman, adopt rules of order, set regular meeting dates for 2026, and adopt a policy for remote participation. Following the organizational portion, the regular meeting includes approval of draft minutes from December 18, 2025, and a period for any and all matters.
