The mayor began the discussion about the village’s 110" year anniversary happening next
December 2027. He has been in contact with Windcreek Casino about having a gala there next
year. He referenced the contract sent to the board outlining the payment schedule to secure the
venue, The first payment of $5250 was due on June 18, 2026, next payment June 18, 2027, and
final payment due Nov. 22, 2027. There is also a 15 room block at a rate of $219.00 per night.
Noting the first payment date has passed, the first payment would be due upon signing the
agreement, as soon as possible.
Trustee Harper stated he wants to make sure we have the finances available to make this

The Mayor and Board of Trustees will meet to discuss a home rule ordinance regarding the acquisition of real estate. The meeting also includes a period for citizen comments.
