Fire and EMS Commission

The Prescott Fire and EMS Commission will discuss and possibly act on creating a savings account, establishing a policy for billing fatal accidents, and electing a chair and vice chair. They will also review the draft annual report and progress on obtaining 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Financial reports for April 2026 will be reviewed.

The Commission elected Lindsey Sorenson as Chair and Sherry Keller as Vice-Chair. The board approved the draft annual report and moved to establish a savings account for escrow and capital improvement funds.

Parks and Public Works Committee

The Parks and Public Works Committee will discuss repairing the non-motorized boat launch on Lake Street, review a signage map for Magee Park, and consider recommending a transportation funding resolution to the City Council. The committee will also approve minutes from April 20.

The committee recommended that the City Council adopt a League of Wisconsin Municipalities resolution for long-term state transportation funding. Staff was directed to obtain an updated masonry quote for boat launch repairs. The committee also discussed signage layouts for Magee Park.
