Tree Grates
Size: 5x5 vs 5x15. 5x5 ($5,000 each) is ample enough. However, as a tree gets larger,
it can be a challenge. The Forestry Department has been asked to look at tree grate
replacement for Main Street to tidy things up.
Material: Rubber pads may be an alternative to metal. As the tree grows, it can
easily push through the rubber which can be cut out to make room for the tree.
