OF THE TOWN OF SMYRNA
ON JULY 30, 2026
The Town Council of the Town of Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tennessee, met in a work
session at 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2026, at Town Hall to discuss various agenda items. Mayor Vice-
Mayor Marc Adkins called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. The following Town Council
Members were present:

Steve Sullivan
Gerry Short
Vice-Mayor Mare Adkins
Mayor Mary Esther Reed and Council Member Racquel Peebles were not present for this
meeting. In addition to the members of the Town Council, various staff members, citizens and

The Town Council of the Town of Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tennessee, met in a work
session at 5:00 p.m. on June 25, 2026, at Town Hall to discuss various agenda items. Mayor Marty
Esther Reed called the meeting to order at 5:18 p.m. following a special-called meeting
immediately prior. The following Town Council Members were present:

1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Amy Harrison, at 5:01 p.m. at Town
Hall, Smyrna, Tennessee.
Chairperson Amy Harrison, Vice-Chairperson Jennifer Brittain and Board Members
Jesse Bobick and Eric Duchanin were present for the meeting. Staff Attorney Benjamin
Groce and Town Clerk Amber Hobbs were also in attendance. Board Member
Jacqueline Redmond was not present for this meeting.

The pledge of allegiance was led by Chairperson Amy Harrison.

May 4, 2026, Beer Board meeting
Next, Board Member Jennifer Brittain made a motion to approve the minutes of the May
4, 2026, Beer Board meeting. Board Member Jesse Bobick seconded the motion.
Following further discussion, the minutes were approved 4-0.
