Regular Council

The West Columbia City Council will review a franchise agreement with MCIMetro and a proposed truck route restriction ordinance. Council members will also approve a sidewalk funding agreement with SCDOT and award two major infrastructure contracts. An executive session will address economic development matters for the Meeting Street corridor.

West Columbia Beautification Foundation

The West Columbia Beautification Foundation will not hold its scheduled meeting on July 7, 2026. The next regular meeting is August 4, 2026. No business will be conducted.

Planning Commission

The West Columbia Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a text amendment that defines short-term rental units and allows them as a permitted use in various residential and commercial zoning districts.
