I respectfully request that the Administrative Services Director provide the Board and employees with a transparent summary of the findings, including the general themes and consensus reflected in the constructive comments and suggestions while protecting individual employees' confidentiality. We were also told that a virtual continuous improvement meeting would be scheduled soon to discuss themes identified through recent focus group sessions with the process improvement team, known as the PIT. Unfortunately, the PIT, which consisted of three non-man agement employees and three management employees, was recently dismantled. One is the cabin village site, and this is an aerial showing that location and the approximate development location. Brandeis Camp Institute originally acquired the Meyer Ranch in 1947 and began establishing a summer camp on the property shortly thereafter. 63. The Board of Zoning Appeals at the time issued what was called a special use permit, which became conditional use permit number 1776 and that authorized expansion of camp facilities. That was the first use permit on the property, and it's still active today. In 1971, they can't received approval to construct the House of the book, which is a cultural heritage landmark. And in 1972, the size of the camp grew substantially with the acquisition of the ranch. In 1994, another county historic landmark on the site, the Meyer House, was destroyed during the Northridge earthquake, and in 2007, the Brandeis-bardin Institute, which succeeded the Brandeis Camp Institute, merged with the University of Judaism to form American Jewish University, which is the current owner and operator.
