Planning and Zoning Commission – Regular Meeting
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on a request to change the future land use designation for a 6,250 sq ft lot at 1526 NE 13th Ave from Single-Family Residential to Multi-Family Residential. The commission will also consider an ordinance that eliminates the Hearing Examiner and establishes a Special Magistrate to conduct quasi-judicial hearings. Hearing Examiner
The Cape Coral Hearing Examiner will hold hearings on three city-initiated rezoning requests. The largest involves rezoning two parcels totaling 23.14 acres in Southwest Cape Coral from Lee County and R1 designations. Other items include rezoning a park from Mixed-Use to Single-Family Residential and a city-owned property from Commercial to Institutional. Staff recommends approval for all.
- Rezone 23.14 acres at 11300 Chandler Grove Dr and 2327 Trafalgar Pkwy from Lee County/R1 to new zoning
- Rezone 2.54 acres at Tropicana Park from Mixed-Use Seven Islands (MX7) to Single-Family Residential (R1)
- Rezone 13.38 acres at 2501 SE 17th Ave from Commercial (C) to Institutional (INST)

Charter School Authority Governing Board – Regular Meeting
The Cape Coral Charter School Authority Governing Board will vote on the tentative budget for FY2027 and a budget amendment for FY2026. They will also consider agreements with Florida SouthWestern State College and Florida Gulf Coast University for student training opportunities, as well as approve a mental health assistance allocation plan and an active assailant response plan for the upcoming school year.

Community Development Block Grant Citizens Advisory Board
The Citizens Advisory Board will review and approve the Community Development Block Grant 2026-2027 Action Plan, including staff and board funding recommendations. The meeting will also cover the approval of previous meeting minutes.
