Call to order
Mayor Pro-Tem Kiger called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. After observing a moment of silence, the
public recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

Commissioner Collins made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented and it was unanimous.

Public Comment
David Smith, 312 S Key Street, was present to address the Board. Mr. Smith expressed his concerns
about the police department being understaffed and those who choose to break the law are aware of
the situation. He stated that this created vulnerability for the citizens of the town. He mentioned that
he had spoken with Chief Tillotson and this was in no way a criticism of the department because the
staff are doing all that they can with limited resources. He respectfully encouraged the Board to
