Call to order at 5 p.m. Record of Attendance: noted. Leonard Smith addressed and presented his letter of resignation as the Park and Recreation Advisory Board President. He felt it was a conflict of interest with his role in the Pelham Park and Recreation Foundation. City Attorney indicated in a prior discussion with Brian Cooper that it is not, but regardless, Leonard felt it best to resign as President. He will remain on the Park and Recreation Advisory Board as a member. We had a motion from Melissa on the phone to nominate Kevin Jones as President. Daniela seconded the motion. The votes totaled 4-0. This will be put into place and will continue through October. A Board vote will take place in November. We had a motion from Melissa to nominate Daniela DeLuca as Vice President. Kevin Jones seconded the motion. The votes totaled 4-0. A brief discussion was had on the number of members being appointed in each term (terms are staggered). There is a limit to an active board member remaining on the board, and it is a two- term limit.
