Metropolitan Transportation Commission
MTC allocates $257.5M in RM3 funds to BART, VTA, and SR4 projects
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission will vote on the allocation of $257.5 million in Regional Measure 3 capital funds to three major transportation projects. The commission will also approve a $4 million allocation for the Valley Link rail project and take a position on Proposition 1, a $11.25 billion statewide housing bond. Additional agenda items include updates to the FY 2025-26 Productivity Improvement Plan and revisions to the FY 2026-27 fund estimates.
- Allocation of $257.5 million in RM3 capital funds: $192.5 million to VTA for BART to Silicon Valley Phase II, $50 million to BART for Transbay Corridor Core Capacity, and $15 million to State Route 4 Bypass Authority for Vasco Road Safety Improvements
