Notice is hereby given that the Kaysville City Council will hold a regular council meeting on Thursday, November 5, 2026,
starting at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers in Kaysville City Hall at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, UT. The meeting will be
streamed live on YouTube, and the link to the meeting will be posted on www.KaysvilleLive.com.
Public comments during the meeting will be accepted only during Action Items, public hearings, and the Call to the Public
portion of the meeting. The number of speakers for each item will be limited, and each speaker will be limited to three (3)
minutes. Individuals wishing to speak must sign up in person before the meeting begins.

The Planning Commission meeting was held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the
Kaysville City Hall located at 23 East Center Street.

3- PUBLIC HEARING FOR A TEXT AMENDMENT TO GOVEN THE SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS
BETWEEN ANIMAL STRUCTURES AND DWELLINGS
Ms. Ellis presented a proposed text amendment regarding animal separation requirements. She
explained that the issue was identified during the City Council’s review of the detached
accessory dwelling unit regulations. Current City Code requires certain animals and animal-
related structures to maintain specified separation distances from a “dwelling,” with distances
varying depending on the type of animal.

Notice is hereby given that the Kaysville City Council will hold a regular council meeting on Thursday, August 20, 2026,
starting at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers in Kaysville City Hall at 23 East Center Street, Kaysville, UT. The meeting will be
