The Carmel-by-the-Sea Planning Commission will hold public hearings on a resolution recommending City Council adoption of an ordinance amending six Municipal Code chapters to implement Housing Element programs and comply with state housing law. The commission will also consider seven design studies and coastal development permits for residential demolitions, new construction, and alterations, plus a use permit amendment for Char Steakhouse expansion.
