The Broward County Commission will consider amending local caps on towing and immobilization fees. Commissioners will also authorize a potential $100 million purchase of a commercial parcel in Dania Beach. A budget workshop is scheduled for later that morning.

County Commission

The County Commission is voting on multiple funding allocations and contract approvals. Key decisions include distributing $9 million for elderly home- and community-based services, accepting over $6 million in state grants for express bus operations, and increasing a transit technology contract by $5 million. Also on the agenda: a job creation incentive package for a confidential project and agreements for Port Everglades.
