• Ordinance 18-2026 – emergency authorization to contract Southwestern Equipment Company to purchase a 2025 Case Utility Equipment 580SN ST backhoe for the service department.

The council approved the January 2025 regular and special meeting minutes. It authorized payments of $1,800 to Slico Fire & Security and $1,050.37 and $2,500 to Bedford Heights Jail, each vote 5-0. The council extended health and dental benefits for Clerk/Treasurer Valerie Snyder through May 31, 2026 and designated the Clerk/Treasurer as the Sunshine Law public‑records designee, both votes 5-0.

The Wage & Salary Committee met on February 3, 2026 with Mayor Michael Procuk presiding. The committee entered executive session to discuss wage and salary matters. The meeting was adjourned without any decisions being made.
