Certain supplies, materials, and equipment to be used in various school units have been advertised for bid and/or requests for proposal (RFP) in accordance with Section 103 of General Municipal Law. Bids/RFP’s are utilized to establish firm prices for a variety of items/services that may be required by the District during the school year. There is no guarantee that the District will require any/all of the items requested on bids/RFP’s. Actual usage will be on an “as needed” basis and may vary. Moment of Silence dedicated to Mr. Ralph Stile. Raffaele “Ralph” Stile, beloved father, friend, educator, outdoorsman, mentor, and athlete, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, at the age of 90. Ralph devoted much of his life to the Sachem community, serving as an elementary teacher, then principal at Lynwood Avenue and Nokomis Elementary Schools, and later multiple terms on the Sachem Board of Education. He was respected not only as a leader, but as someone who genuinely cared for people and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
