The council will consider awarding the Garden Street East Connector contract to Don Weston Excavating, Inc., and a Veterans Park turf improvement contract with AstroTurf Corporation. Resolution #2026-09 would expand the Public Art Committee to nine members. First readings are scheduled for updates to the Transportation Impact Fee and for Land Development Regulation amendments (LDR-26-02 through LDR-26-08). A shared use path easement at 1626 Dorset Street is also on the agenda.

Development Review Board (July 7)

A continued site plan for a 12,735-square-foot expansion of a commercial and industrial building at 530 Community Drive tops the agenda (PZ-SITE-2026-16). The board will also hear site plans for stormwater, parking, and slope stabilization at Red Rocks Park (4 Central Ave), a new 5,040-square-foot building on an undeveloped lot at 69 Randall Street, and a preliminary plat to subdivide a 5.5-acre lot into two lots at 1730 Spear Street. Approval of the June 16 minutes is planned.

Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee (July 8)

The committee will elect officers and adopt its FY27 work plan. Updates on bike/pedestrian bridge naming, a discussion about the DRB and the Long Property, and new member orientation round out the session.

Housing Committee (July 8)

Members will elect a chair, vice chair, and clerk, then review the FY27 work plan and begin discussing standards for the Housing Trust Fund.

Library Board of Trustees (July 9)

After swearing in new and returning trustees and electing officers, the board will vote on proposed changes to room rental and usage policies and review the first draft of the South Burlington Public Library’s 2026–2030 strategic plan. Committee assignments will follow.
