Council to consider exempting HVAC project from competitive bidding

The Seaside City Council will hold a special meeting to consider adopting Resolution #4093, which would exempt the Seaside Civic and Convention Center HVAC Updates and Replacement Project from traditional competitive bidding and authorize a competitive design-build proposal process. The estimated contract value is between $1.4 million and $2.5 million, funded by the Convention Center Capital Fund. The council discussed the resolution at an August 10 work session and will take formal action on August 14 after the required public notice period.
