Public Hearing: Resolution No 121-2026 - To amend the Fiscal Year 2027 Capital Budget to
accept a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration in the amount of $531,480 for the air traffic
control tower equipment project.
Mrs. Hurley explained that this request is to amend the FY27 capital budget to increase the federal
grant for the air traffic control tower by $531,480 bringing the total grant to $1,791,480. She said the
increase reflects higher project costs identified through the bidding process and will be fully
funded by the FAA.
Mr. Cannon opened the Public Hearing. There were no public comments. Mr. Cannon closed the

The Wicomico County Board of Elections met on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Following some
initial technical difficulties, the meeting convened at 9:20 a.m.
Public notice was given, and the Board of Elections office posted the agenda prior to the
meeting.
There being a quorum, Board Vice President Wendlandt called the meeting to order. The Board
led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Lord’s Prayer.
Board Vice President Wendlandt initiated a brief discussion about changes to the Minutes of the
Board meeting held on May 20, 2026. After reviewing those changes and corrections, he asked
for a motion to approve the Minutes, as amended. Board Member Morris so moved, seconded by
Board Member Green, and the motion carried unanimously.
There being no Additions/Changes to Agenda, the Director’s report followed.
