The Property is in the R-3 Residential Zoning District and is identified as Tax Parcel No. 52-5-146.3. The Property consists of 4.11-acres and is improved with a single-family residential dwelling. In order to facilitate the proposed subdivision, the Applicant is seeking a variance from Section 84-54.E(1) of the West Goshen Township Zoning Ordinance to permit proposed lot 2 of the subdivision to have 34.2% and lot 3 to have 26.2% impervious surface coverage in areas of precautionary steep slopes where only 20% impervious coverage is permitted. This meeting was advertised in The Daily Local News on December 17, 2025. This meeting agenda was posted on the West Goshen Township website and at the Township Building on Friday, July 17, 2026. Public Comment Doug White, resident of West Goshen Township, discussed the recent passing of former Township Manager Casey LaLonde. Dr. White stated that Mr. LaLonde was the Township Manager for 15 years and he passed away on June 15, 2026. This meeting was advertised in The Daily Local News on December 17, 2025. This meeting agenda was posted on the West Goshen Township website and at the Township Building on Friday, May 29, 2026. Mr. Walsh opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Mr. Walsh announced that the meeting may be audio or video recorded by 3rd parties. Public Comment Brittany Schugsta, resident of East Goshen Township, stated that she is before the Board this evening as a representative of Save Forsythe Farm. Ms. Schugsta discussed flooding concerns in the area of the property at 905 Westtown Road. Ms. Schugsta stated that 905 Westtown Road sits in a low point within this natural drainage system that funnels stormwater towards Forsythe Farm.
