The Washington County Personnel Committee will meet via teleconference to accept prior meeting minutes and discuss department staffing requests. The main items are two backfill caseworker positions and one Social Services Examiner backfill in the Department of Social Services, plus updates from the County Administrator and Public Health Director.

The Personnel Committee approved two caseworker backfills for the Department of Social Services due to a resignation and a retirement. Board of Supervisors
The Washington County Board of Supervisors is holding its annual organization meeting via teleconference. The board will elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman, and may conduct other business brought before the meeting.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors held its organization meeting, electing Samuel J. Hall as Chairman and Robert Henke as Vice Chairman for 2021. The board adopted seven resolutions, including fixing the bond for the chairman and vice chairman, paying the Soil and Water Conservation District Board, appropriating funds for the Extension Service, designating depositories, amending board rules to codify the Personnel Committee's responsibilities, adopting the 2021 rules, and appointing Daniel Boucher as Probation Director. All resolutions were adopted, with Resolution No. 5 passing by a 2/3 roll call vote of 14-1.
