The Planning and Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings regarding a special use permit for a plumbing contractor and proposed amendments to various village codes.

They also recommended approval of a variance for Vorp Energy International at 6605 W. Monee-Manhattan Rd. The Committee of the Whole discussed Aqua Illinois' approved sewer rate increase and a proposed water rate reduction plan. Planning and Zoning

The Planning & Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on a variance application from Vorp Energy International for the Amazon MDW7 distribution center at 6605 W. Monee-Manhattan Rd. The Planning & Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing and voted unanimously to send a favorable recommendation to the Village Board of Trustees for a variance requested by Vorp Energy International at 6605 W. Monee-Manhattan Rd. The variance would allow an 8-foot tall fence with decorative spikes and an 8x16-foot guard shack with solar panels, reaching 18 feet in height, for safety and security. The board members expressed no issues with the request.
