BAN ON FIREWORKS FOR ORANGEVILLE CITY
In Accordance with the Governor Cox's Executive Order issued on June 25, 2026, Orangeville City plans to follow the Order set by the State of Utah and has banned personal fireworks. The state has been declared in a state of emergency due to severe drought conditions.
The Orangeville City Mayor and Fire Chief has determined that there is not a safe location to discharge fireworks within City limits at this time due to severe drought conditions, dead fuels and dry foliage. Orangeville City WILL NOT designate any areas to discharge fireworks.
The statewide ban applies to Orangeville City from July 2- July 5, 2026.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Orangeville City will hold a separate public hearing on June 11, 2026, beginning at 6:15 pm, to provide opportunity for public comment , and to be followed by the regular City Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. Orangeville City Hall, 25 North Main Street, for the purpose of actions taken pursuant to Utah Code Ann. §§ 10-6-111, Utah Code Ann. §§ 10-6-117, 10-6-118.
