The purpose of this meeting is to accept or reject the 2026-2027 budget and make any changes that the council sees fit. Prior to this meeting the council looked over the operational budget to make any adjustments for next year.
$185,000 of revenue this year and $122,000 in expenditures in the general fund.
$103,000 brought in by water, there is still the month of June to be added to this number.
Zac wondered about getting Steve some help for the summer. The council felt like it was within the budget tofind someone to help him out.They did not fell they needed to adjust the budget for that.

Budget July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 for the Town of Joseph.
Public notice is hereby given that the Joseph Town Council will hold a public hearing
Thursday June 4, 2026 @ 6:30 pm at the Joseph Community Center at 25 E 100 N Joseph, UT.
The purpose of this hearing will be to adopt the 2026/2027 budget and certified tax rate for the Town of Joseph.
This meeting is held for public comment.
The 2026/2027budget may be opened and amended to increase or decrease the General and Enterprise funds expenditures and revenue budgets by department and line item.
The proposed budget will be available for inspection during regular office hours, Mondays-Thursdays from 9-3 at the Town Office.
The budget for the Joseph Municipal Building Authority 2026/2027 will also be presented to the council.
