Notice is hereby given to the members of the Hildale City Council and the public, that the City Council will hold a
public hearing during the regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. (MDT), at 320 East
Newel Avenue, Hildale City, Utah 84784, to receive public comment concerning the Tentative FY27 Budget.
And to receive public comment on a Property Tax Increase. The Budget Officer intends to state that Hildale City is
considering a tax rate that exceeds the certified tax rate. The approximate dollar amount is $208,403.80 for
funding the Police Department and General Fund which is a 170% increase in the city's property tax rate.
