Pursuant to Utah Code § 20A-1-510, Magna hereby gives notice of a vacancy of council member for District 5 due to Audrey Pierce, the current District 5 Council Member, resigning on August 17, 2026. The remaining term will be from September 8, 2026, through December 31, 2027.
Individuals interested in applying for appointment to the District 5 vacant seat on the Magna City Council must meet the following qualifications for office:
- Be a registered voter of Magna.
- Be a resident of Magna in District 5 for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the appointment date of September 8, 2026.
