TO ADDRESS THE BOARD: The Assessment Appeals Board provides the members of the public
with a Public Comment-Open Time period, where the public may directly address the Assessment
Appeals Board on any agenda item on the regular calendar before the consideration of the items on
the regular calendar and may also address the Assessment Appeals Board on any matter not listed
on the agenda that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Assessment Appeals Board. In
addition, members of the public may also comment on any item on the regular calendar before or
during the consideration of the item.
Members of the public may also address matters scheduled for public hearings at the time such
public hearings are opened for comment. Pursuant to the Brown Act (Govt. Code section 54950, et
seq.), Assessment Appeals Board action or discussion cannot be taken on non-agenda

Designated authority to the County Executive Officer to execute an evergreen agreement with the
Shasta County Superior Court (“Court”) for use of the Redding Memorial Veterans Hall, located
at 1605 Yuba Street, Redding, in the Court’s emergency operations plan.
Approved a retroactive Memorandum of Understanding with the Fall River Resource Conservation
District for reimbursement of noxious weed eradication services in Shasta County.
Adopted a resolution which recognizes the importance of First Responders in Shasta County and
supports the installation of dedication plaques to be placed on state highways and freeways at the
County boundaries.
Approved the minutes of the meetings held on April 21 and 28, 2026, as submitted.
Appointed Geoff Stebbins to the Burney Cemetery District to serve the remainder of a four-year

assistance devices and designated authority to the County Executive Officer, or their designee, to
