Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

The Sawyer County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council will discuss and possibly act on bylaw updates, receive a jail report, and hear updates on youth justice, mental health, medication-assisted therapy, and possible housing funding. The meeting also includes public comments and approval of previous minutes.

Land, Water & Forest Resources Committee

The committee is reviewing forestry reports, land records, and upcoming seasonal events. Discussion includes a proposal to name an unnamed feature Bear Foot Lake near the Town of Radisson.

Public Works Committee

The Public Works Committee will discuss and possibly act on extending the 25-mph speed zone on CTH CC at Chippewa Flowage, a driveway variance request, and an ATV/UTV ordinance. They will also receive reports on maintenance, the airport, and highway operations.

Health & Human Services Board

The Health and Human Services Board will receive updates and reports from all department units, including Adult Long Term Care, Behavioral Health, Child Protective Services, Youth Justice, Economic Support, and Public Health. The board will also review a budget performance report through November 2022 and a purchased service recap. No votes on policy or spending are scheduled; the meeting is primarily informational.
