Council to vote on $7.9M police headquarters increase and 113 new surveillance cameras

The City Council will hold public hearings on property assessments for street light and landscape maintenance districts, and on a proposal to build two industrial warehouses totaling ~120,000 sq ft at Valley Blvd and Willow Ave requiring a general plan amendment from commercial to industrial. The council will also vote on increasing the police headquarters construction budget by $7.86 million and approving ~$2.47 million in contracts for 113 public safety cameras citywide. A closed session covers four existing lawsuits and real estate negotiations for 134 S. Willow.
