Highway and Foxridge.

Staff will be asking the Council for direction on whether they desire to
change the candidate filing period to match the new State of Missouri filing
period for April.

The Raymore City Council is scheduled to enter into executive session to
discuss:

Development Services Director David Gress reviewed the staff report included in

Emergency Management Director Tim Baldwin provided an update of activities of
the department. He noted SEMA’s Emergency Management Performance grant
has been funded and applications should be sent out in October or November
with funds for the previous July 1 to June 30 performance period. He announced
the next CERT event is October 29 to tour the Pleasant Hill National Weather
Service facility. He answered questions from Council.
City Manager Jim Feuerborn announced items for the October 19 work session.

Raymore council holds final FY2027 budget talk before Oct. 12 hearing
The Raymore City Council meets in a work session on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM at City Hall, 100 Municipal Circle. THE RAYMORE ARTS COMMISSION MET IN REGULAR SESSION TUESDAY, AUGUST 11,
2026, AT RAYMORE CITY HALL, 100 MUNICIPAL CIRCLE. COMMISSIONERS PRESENT WERE:
JESSICA BERRY, GARY GRAVES, LARRY HIGHTOWER, CHERYL CUNNINGHAM. ABSENT: BOB
BERRY; YVETTE SABUR.
1. Call to Order Commission Chair Jessica Berry called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call - Communications Director Melissa Harmer called roll and a quorum was
present.

4. Staff Reports
a. Communications Director Melissa Harmer shared a review of the August
Station Stop Art Party and an update on the upcoming concert, work session
for the Sept. 8 meeting and a grant from the Belton-Raymore Rotary Club to
support public art.
5. Consent Agenda
a. Approval of the minutes for the July 14, 2026 meeting.
Commissioner Hightower motioned to approve the minutes and
Commissioner Graves seconded the motion. The motion was approved 4-0.
6. New Business
a. Election of officers. Staff conducted the election of officers. Commissioner Hightower
nominated Commissioner Jessica Berry for chair. Commissioner Jessica Berry’s
nomination was approved 4-0.Commissioner Graves nominated Commissioner
Hightower for vice-chair. Hightower’s nomination was approved 4-0.
b. Approval of the meeting calendar for September 2026-August 2027. Commissioner
Graves motioned to approve the item and Commissioner Hightower seconded the
