Council Committee of the Whole

The Pottstown Borough Council Committee of the Whole will discuss filling the 6th Ward council vacancy, promote three police officers, and consider several zoning variances, bid awards, and ordinance amendments. The meeting includes public comment and subcommittee reports.

• Motion to promote Corporal Peter Yambrick to Sergeant, Detective Brooke Hatfield to Corporal, and Officer Zachary Robinson to Corporal
• Resolution to fill 6th Ward council vacancy (term to expire Jan 1, 2024)
• Zoning variance requests for 992 N Washington St, 931 N Franklin St, 3 E Third St, 379 Cherry St
• Bid awards for police vehicle, water pipes, traffic signs, lawn maintenance, and property maintenance

Council accepted the resignation of Councilor Michael Paules and appointed Andrew Monastra to fill the 6th Ward seat through January 1, 2024. The body also approved three promotions within the Police Department.
