The Palmyra Borough Council approved the 2025 final budget, the 2025 real estate tax ordinance (5.30 mills), and a sewer rate increase from $98 to $109 per quarter, all by 5-2 votes. The council also eliminated the mayor's $2,300 annual compensation (6-1), appointed Tom Miller to fill the mayor's unexpired term, and made several other appointments. Councilor Catalani declined to resign after a DUI arrest, and the council discussed an unexpected $200,000 invoice from North Londonderry Township.

Council voted 6-1 to authorize the solicitor to prepare an ordinance eliminating the mayor's salary, a $2,300 annual reduction. The Palmyra Borough Council approved a new three-year contract with Casella Mid-Atlantic, LLC for residential refuse and recycling collection, choosing Option #2 which provides 96-gallon curb carts to each unit. The motion passed 4-2, with Councilors Andrews and Quairoli voting no. The council also agreed to discontinue the single-bag program due to increased costs.
