Village Council

Planning and Zoning Commission

The Palatine Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to review the final draft of the Village's Comprehensive Plan. The current plan was adopted in 2011, and this new draft, prepared by the Lakota Group, addresses issues and challenges facing the Village over the next twenty years.

The commission approved the minutes from its March 11, 2025 meeting by unanimous vote. The commission then held a public hearing to present the Village of Palatine Comprehensive Plan, with staff recommending its approval but no vote was recorded. Beautification Commission

The Beautification Commission will review the Downtown Palatine Redevelopment Plan and answer questions about its role in future projects. The commission will also address the 2025 Spring/Summer Planting Plan and several community events listed in the agenda.

Foreign Fire Tax Board

The Foreign Fire Tax Board will consider approval of minutes and the treasurer's report, then discuss and vote on multiple new business items. These include purchases of a stove, beds, entertainment, kitchen supplies, fitness equipment, and rescue gear for all stations.
