City of Fallon-Churchill County Fire Board
Fire Board discusses Redwood Products battery recycling operations
The Fire Board reviewed a report from Fire Chief Dooley on conversations with Redwood Products about their battery recycling facility. CITY OF FALLON-CHURCHILL COUNTY FIRE BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
June 9, 2026
1. Call to Order:
The City of Fallon-Churchill County Fire Board met on the above date at the Fire Station, 20 North
Carson Street, Fallon, Nevada. President Erik Fain called the meeting to order at 5: 08 p.m. Those
present were as follows:
MEMBERS: Blake Brandenburg
Erik Fain
Paul Harmon
Eric Blakey
Destry Johnson
ABSENT:
ALSO PRESENT: Jared Dooley, Fire Chief; Alexa Robinson, Fire
Board Secretary
2. Public Comment:
There was none.
3. Verification of the Posting of the Agenda:
It was verified by Alexa Robinson, Fire Board Secretary, that the agenda for this meeting was posted
on time and at all of the locations listed on the agenda, in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes
(NRS) 241 and the Churchill County Code.
4. Consideration and possible action re: Approval of Agenda as submitted or revised:
Paul Harmon moved to approve the agenda as submitted. Destry Johnson seconded the
motion which carried by unanimous vote.
5. Consideration and possible action re: Approval of Minutes of the meeting held on:
A. April 14, 2026 Regular Meeting
Paul Harmon moved to approve the April 14, 2026 minutes of the regular meeting of
the Fire Board finding good cause for the minutes not being approved within 45 days
as the May 12th, 2026 meeting was cancelled due to a lack of quorum. Blake
