The Le Sueur County Board of Adjustment will consider three variance applications at its September 3, 2026 meeting. The Le Sueur County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at
9:00 a.m. in the Government Center at Le Center, Minnesota. Those members present were John King,

The Le Sueur County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, June 23 , 202 6 at 9:00
a .m. in the Government Center at Le Center, Minneso ta. Board m embers present were John King, Danny
O ’Keefe, David Preisler, Steve Rohlfing and Dennis Tietz . Also present were Brent Christian, Joe Martin ,
Aaron Stubbs and Pam Herrmann .
Rohlfing moved, Tietz seconded, motion carried unanimously to approve the agenda for the business of
the day with the addition of #7, Sheriff Mason with an agreement with the City of Cleveland.
King moved, Preisler seconded, motion carried unanimously to approve the consent agenda:

The Le Sueur County Board of Appeal and Equalization met in spe cial session on Tuesday, June 1 6 , 202 6
at 6:30 p.m. in the Government Center at Le Center, Minnesota. Those members present : D anny
O ’Keefe, John King, Dave Preisler , Steve Rohlfing , Dennis Tietz and Auditor-Treasurer Dani Ongie .
Also present were Deputy County Administrator Aaron Stubbs, County Assessor Shayne Bender, Deputy
Assessor Jen Flicek, Senior Appraiser Corey Schwartz, County Administrator Joe Martin and County
Administrator Assistant Pam Herrmann .
At 6:30 p.m. Joe Martin called the 20 2 6 Board of Equalization to order and issued the oath to the
Equalization Board.
Joe Martin then called for nominations for Chairman. Commissioner Rohlfing nominated O ’Keefe for
Chairman, seconded by King , nominations ceased and O ’Keefe was elected Chairman of the 202 6 Board
of Equalization.
Commissioner Preisler nominated King for Vice Chairman, seconded by Rohlfing , nominations ceased
and King was elected Vice Chair of the 202 6 Board of Equalization.
Shayne Bender, County Assessor gave an overview of the process and the work that has been done in his
office to prepare for the 202 6 Board of Equalization.
