The Council will meet over two days to discuss state agency updates, budget reports, and the development of the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). Members will vote on fiscal policies, a contract with LRS, and travel for the APRIL Conference.

SILC to vote on assuming full financial control and FY27 budget
The Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) will hold a quarterly meeting to discuss and vote on transitioning to full financial autonomy, including assuming direct budgetary control and approving a proposed FY27 budget. The council will also receive updates from state agencies, Centers for Independent Living (CILs), and committees on employment, housing advocacy, and legislative tracking.
