The Kent County Commissioners approved all eight consent items, including a $185,293.82 contract renewal with CentralSquare Technologies and a $27,900 stormwater review agreement. They also approved a $10.5 million six-month investment at 4.03% interest, adopted the Responsible AI Policy, and allocated $10,000 from contingency funds for youth football scholarships and equipment. Additionally, they approved a $35,500.94 HVAC reallocation for the Detention Center and a tree-planting agreement with ShoreRivers.

• Authorized execution of the ShoreRivers landowner agreement to plant 40 trees at three county parks.
• Approved a conditional offer of employment for the Deputy Clerk II vacancy.

Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board

The Agricultural Preservation Advisory Board will meet to review the minutes from February 18, 2026. The primary focus of the meeting is a general discussion regarding the rankings of easement applications for fiscal year 2027/2028.

Economic & Tourism Development Commission

The Economic & Tourism Development Commission will hear from the Upper Shore Regional Council regarding CEDS and business mentoring. The body will also receive an update on the Chesapeake Country All-American Road and its signs.
