City Council

Architecture and Design Review Board

Architecture and Design Review Board

The Hillsborough Architecture and Design Review Board will hold a regular meeting to review and discuss five residential projects: two formal reviews (990 Yale Drive and 2115 Oaks Ave.) and three preliminary reviews (0 Eugenia Way, 20 Acorn Dr., and 3220 Ralston Ave.). The board will also approve minutes from the December 4, 2023 meeting, receive staff updates, and discuss board member updates. All projects are subject to ADRB review per the Hillsborough Municipal Code.

• 990 Yale Drive: interior remodel and addition, adding ~823 sq ft (680 sq ft garage), total FAR 18.66%
• 2115 Oaks Ave.: new two-story single-family residence, ~4,472 sq ft, 25% FAR, with pool and landscape
• 0 Eugenia Way: new two-story modern residence, ~6,622.5 sq ft, 23.1% FAR, in Wildland-Urban Interface
• 20 Acorn Dr.: new two-story shingle style residence, ~6,746 sq ft, 22.4% FAR, replacing existing ranch
• 3220 Ralston Ave.: new two-story modern residence >8,000 sq ft, max 17,424 sq ft, on two-acre lot

Citizens Communication Advisory Committee

The Citizens Communication Advisory Committee will meet to discuss topics for the Town Bulletin and review editing for the Q1 2024 newsletter. The meeting also includes a review of minutes from the December 12, 2023, meeting.

City Council

The Hillsborough City Council will hold a regular meeting with a closed session on labor negotiations, followed by public hearings and discussions. Key items include adopting an ordinance to amend zoning codes and rezone two town-owned properties as part of the 2023-2031 Housing Element update, and approving several consent calendar items including contracts and compensation adjustments. The meeting also includes informational updates on housing, youth commission, and age-friendly certification.
