Arts Commission to vote on new grant application format and award limits
The Ojai Arts Commission will discuss and vote on revisions to the Arts Grant application process, including a move to an online-only format and a decision on whether to limit consecutive grant awards to two or three years. Commissioners will also review a two-year update to the Five Year Strategic Plan and identify priorities for the draft update. City Council to adopt resolutions for the November 2026 municipal election
The Ojai City Council will vote on three resolutions: calling the November 3, 2026 general municipal election, requesting consolidation of the election with the statewide general election, and adopting regulations for candidate statements. Council to vote on aquatics program fees, lifeguard pay, and school district deal
The Ojai City Council will consider adopting a resolution updating the lifeguard salary schedule, approving a $5 per person entry fee for open and lap swim, and authorizing a $5,000 allocation for reduced-fee waivers for income-qualified participants. VIEWING & ACCESS
Public participation is encouraged! The meetings are conducted in a hybrid model, providing both in-person attendance and virtual public comment via the Zoom link below. Virtual attendance via Zoom is the only way to remotely provide public comment. Pre-registration is not required for public comment via Zoom. Instead, Zoom participants will utilize the “hand-raise” function to indicate their desire to speak on an item. The meeting is also livestreamed on the City's website at ojai.ca.gov/525/2968/Public-Meetings , on YouTube at youtube.com/@ojaicity , and on Spectrum Channel 10.
