The Elko County Board of Health will discuss and consider approving the Elko County Opioid Use Disorder Community Needs Assessment and Opioid Response Plan, which is required to maintain eligibility for funding through the Nevada Fund for a Resilient Nevada. The plan, prepared by the University of Nevada Reno and state health offices, does not authorize specific programs or expenditures. Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife
Advisory board to consider over $3M in wildlife project funding
The Elko County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife will review and may approve funding for Fiscal Year 2027 heritage and habitat projects totaling up to $3.27 million. They will also consider extension requests for prior-year heritage projects and reallocation of unused funds from FY2025. The board makes recommendations to the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners.

Public hearing on Fire District's final budget for 2026/2027
The Board of Fire Commissioners will hold a public hearing and consider approving the final budget for the Elko County Fire Protection District for fiscal year 2026/2027.
