CITY COUNCIL MEETING
City Council holds budget workshop for FY 2026/27 final budget
The City Council will conduct a budget workshop to review the updated preliminary budget for Fiscal Year 2026/27, accept public input, and provide direction for the final budget. The proposed general fund budget is balanced with $11,739,000 in revenues against $11,507,375 in expenditures, leaving a $231,625 surplus. The council will also call for a public hearing to adopt the final budget on August 25, 2026. Before the regular meeting, the council will hold a closed session to discuss anticipated litigation, a contract dispute, and the City Manager's performance evaluation.

Council to approve $74,425 engineering task order for Rancho Tract water project
The City Council will consider consent items including adoption of a skate park ordinance and a resolution declaring surplus property, followed by continued business such as discussing a zone text amendment to allow farmers markets and approving an auditing contract.
