Chairman Sugarman called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.
NOTICE OF MEETING: The Chairman states: Let the minutes reflect that adequate notice of
this meeting has been provided in the following manner: On December 9, 2025 this Body, by
Resolution, adopted a Schedule of Regular Public Meetings for 2026. The time, date, and location
of said schedule was posted on the Bulletin Board at 309 Main Street. A copy of said schedule was
mailed to the RECORD, STAR LEDGER, SPECTRUM, posted on the Borough Web Site and
filed with the Borough Clerk. A written notice of the time, place and proposed Agenda was posted
on the Bulletin Board at 309 Main Street and mailed to the RECORD, STAR LEDGER,
SPECTRUM, posted on the Borough Web Site and filed with the Borough Clerk. Copies have
been mailed to all persons who have prepaid the $35.00 fee fixed for the year 2026 to cover the

Resolution, adopted a Schedule of Regular Public Meetings for 2026. The time, date, and location
of said schedule was posted on the Bulletin Board at 309 Main Street. A copy of said schedule was

OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS ACT STATEMENT
In accordance with Chapter 231, P.L. 1975 adequate notice informing the public
of the time and place of this meeting was emailed to the Record on October 17, 2025,
and emailed to the Star Ledger on January 8, 2026. Said notice was duly posted to the
official newspaper notices section of the Borough website and posted on the Borough
Hall bulletin board.
At this point in the meeting, Mayor Sokolich and the Governing Body members

The Regular Meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Fort Lee was held on
the above date in the Council Chambers, Memorial Municipal Building, 309 Main Street, Fort
Lee, New Jersey.

In accordance with Chapter 231, P.L. 1975 adequate notice informing the public of
the time and place of this meeting was emailed to the Record on October 17, 2025, and
emailed to the Star Ledger on January 8, 2026. Said notice was duly posted to the official
newspaper notices section of the Borough website and posted on the Borough Hall bulletin
board.
MAYOR’S REPORT AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
“Welcome everyone. All our activities have started like Movies Under the Stars, which
you will hear more about that later tonight. Please make sure you participate in all that Fort
Lee has to offer. On behalf of the entire government body, extend our sincere appreciation to
everybody in Fort Lee that made our host of watch parties that we had over the last 30 days
from mixed finals to World Cup matches. The fun that we have had was great. We hosted
probably over 8, 9, 10,000 people between all the matches and the mixed finals, right? I want
to thank everyone. We must have had fifteen …

NOTICE OF MEETING: The Chairman states: Let the minutes reflect that adequate notice of
this meeting has been provided in the following manner: On December 9, 2025 this Body, by
Resolution, adopted a Schedule of Regular Public Meetings for 2026. The time, date, and location
of said schedule was posted on the Bulletin Board at 309 Main Street. A copy of said schedule was
mailed to the RECORD, STAR LEDGER, SPECTRUM, posted on the Borough Web Site and
filed with the Borough Clerk. A written notice of the time, place and proposed Agenda was posted

NOTICE OF MEETING:
Chairman Sugarman stated: Let the minutes reflect that adequate notice of this meeting has been
provided in the following manner: On December 9, 2025 this Body, by Resolution, adopted a Schedule
of Regular Public Meetings for 2026. The time, date, and location of said schedule was posted on the
Bulletin Board at 309 Main Street. A copy of said schedule was mailed to the RECORD, STAR
LEDGER, SPECTRUM, posted on the Borough Web Site and filed with the Borough Clerk. A written
notice of the time, place and proposed Agenda was posted on the Bulletin Board at 309 Main Street and
mailed to the RECORD, STAR LEDGER, SPECTRUM, posted on the Borough Web Site and filed with
the Borough Clerk. Copies have been mailed to all persons who have prepaid the $35.00 fee fixed for
the year 2026 to cover the cost of mailing.
