Total municipal debt obligation secured by property taxes: $1,398,494. Taxpayer Impact: The total tax rate (per $100 of value) is proposed to be an 14% change from 2025 ($0.619296 tax rate) to 2026 ($0.719777 tax rate). The average homestead taxable value from 2025 ($267,496) saw a change of 4% to 2026 ($277,963). The tax due on an average homestead increased from $1,657 in 2025 to $2,001 in 2026, which is a 17% difference. The total tax levy on all properties will see a 16% change from $7,245,510 in 2025 to $8,580,570 in 2026. 1.
