Thompson School District, Court Case No. 2025CV30681; t he Board of Education may confer with the School District’s attorney for the purpose of receiving legal advice pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) on the following specific legal questions: the Board of Education’s authority and statutory and court decisions’ limitations on its authority to officially recognize an employee association and engage in negotiations about district policies and terms and conditions of employment; and the Board of Education may proceed into executive session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e)(I) and (III) for the purpose s of developing the strategy of the school district for negotiations relating to collective bargaining with the Thompson Education Association.
