Development Services Management Group

Green Implementation Advancement Board
The Green Implementation Advancement Board will discuss and review the draft Sustainability and Resilience Master Plan, including the climate action component. They will also address the Green Building Ordinance, consider legislative impacts of HB1217, and discuss energy topics. Public comments will be heard.

Special Magistrate
The Special Magistrate will hear several cases regarding code violations. The board is also reviewing a case involving noncompliance of a previous board order and the assessment of fines.

Planning and Zoning Board
The board will vote on recommendations to the City Commission for several land development regulation amendments. The most significant is Ordinance 34-26, which establishes new impact fees for police, fire, water, wastewater, stormwater, and municipal facilities, and increases the existing parks fee. Other items include a street naming for NW 12th Avenue as Weatherspoon Way, and adjustments to development standards.

Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

City Commission

City Commission
The City Commission will consider approving a $59.2 million guaranteed maximum price for the Pompey Park Recreation Center project. They will also vote on a budget amendment, discuss the Tree Trust Fund, and decide on an expenditure plan for opioid settlement funds. Additionally, they will hold a public hearing on an ordinance to change pet grooming from a conditional to a permitted use in several commercial zoning districts.

City Commission
